REBECCA DEMARINO grew up hearing family lore of Barnabas Horton, who left England in the 1600’s on a little ship called The Swallow. When she traveled to Horton Point, Long Island, NY, with her mother Helen Horton Worley to see the lighthouse named after their ancestor, passions collided: a love of faith, family, travel, history, and writing. The Southold Chronicles is an inspirational historical romance series based on Mary and Barnabas Horton of Mowsley, England—Rebecca’s ninth great-grandparents. Rebecca is the author of A Place in His Heart and To Capture Her Heart, books one and two of The Southold Chronicles. Book three, To Follow Her Heart, released in July from Revell, a division of Baker Publishing Group. Rebecca lives in the beautiful Pacific NW, United Sates, with her husband, Tom.
